The Inability to Argue

Yesterday, I came across a most amusing situation. An Obama supporter, after making the ridiculously unsubstantiated and comical statement to a close friend that Mr. Obama has cut the tax burden to 95% of Americans, refused to discuss his assertion with me because, in his words, I watch the Glenn Beck show. I couldn’t help but silently laugh at his ignorance and stupidity, as I very seldom watch Glenn’s show, it is true however, that I have glanced at his book “Arguing with Idiots”; I find it well written and somewhat humorous to say the least.

Conversely, my quarrel with the current political state of affairs in our Country is not derived from some talking head on the radio or TV (i.e. Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O’Reily, etc…), my disagreement with the current administration and congressional leadership is a direct result of my lifelong political experience and familiarity with the socialistic dogma. I did not grow up in the U.S.; I grew up in Portugal, now a failing socialist democratic country. I have lived under a totalitarian right wing regime and saw the rise of socialism in that nation (see April 25, 1974 revolution). I am well versed in socialistic propaganda and doctrine, I studied it in school; therefore I speak from experience.

When I first heard President Obama talk about “spreading wealth”, I knew exactly what he was referring to, and when he spoke of “fundamentally” changing the country, I recognized his true intentions; democratic socialism, was on the way. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure this out, but the “followers” inspired by “Hope and Change”, the rally frenzies and all the deception put out by the media, Hollywood and Obama’s campaign staff, failed to recognize the true meaning of his statements.

Devoid of substantial and factual reasoning the blind “followers” were merrily led like sheep to the edge of the precipice while proudly wearing Mao T-shirts, holding hands and in unison singing Kumbayha, willingly jumping to their fantasy of a socially equal state and in an effort to continuously show support for the pied piper in chief and not appear to be the buffoons that they truly are, refuse to acknowledge their abysmal ideological demise while not realizing that Shambala is only an hallucination that will turn into a national nightmare.

Nevertheless, the consensus is that the blowhard left-wing libtards and their blind “followers” have a definite inability to argue when challenged with facts, logic and common sense. Like a common house fly, they have the uncanny ability to be really annoying, they buzz around your head lecturing their bovine solid waste matter until you confront them. They lack the testicular fortitude of a castrated cocker spaniel to argue their misguided position as they possess no facts, only manufactured lies provided to them by the lame stream media and the left wing propaganda machine! Their only recourse is the now all too familiar cowardly ludicrous remark: “you’re a racist idiot”. With this last word in, they desire to discourage and disarm those that can think on their feet and simultaneously walk and chew gum, from continuously exposing these fabricated deceptions and mendacity to mislead the masses, and when that fails they simply tuck their tails between their cowardly tremulous legs and scatter like roaches in a room when the lights go on!

I am neither a racist nor am I an idiot, and in my book, anyone who feels the need to pull out the race card in a political discussion is indeed the true “racist idiot”. When all else fails and due to their insecurities, these coward closet bigots speak of race, because that is what they see, a man’s skin color, they are far from being color blind as they claim to be, and instead of looking at the man under the skin and simply ascertaining his aptitude by his qualities and credentials, they judge him by his ethnicity. This is not about the President’s skin color, nor is it personal as I don’t know him. It’s about policies. Policies that affect my family and me, policies that concern every single one of us and these policies, I take issue with, because I am all too aware of their results, all one has to do is watch the news relating to Greece, Spain and Portugal, “Hope and Change” doesn’t seem to be working too well for them.

So, before you go pointing your sticky dirty little left-wing fingers at anyone who challenges your mediocre inadequate intellectual reasoning take my advice; arm yourself with real facts first, or shut the hell up, ‘cause I just about had enough of your nonsense!
